Pokemon Ultra Sun: Main Story Complete! + A few thoughts on Story

Yeah, I only just finished it. I recently couldn't play Xenoblade, so I focused the time on Pokemon instead.
So, my party when I beat the game and then a few thoughts on the changes to the story in Ultra.

Toushin Toshi 3DS - CG Gallery

I did say I would make one, and I haven't made a post in a while because I've been so busy playing Xenoblade 2 and all of that good stuff.
Thanks to all the people that posted to Miiverse!

Oh, and
-Spoilers
-NSFW <-- Really, really so
-I did try to sort them out in the types of events, but within those groups, I did not put them in order.
-There is a possibility I missed some
-Before you make any conclusions on the game, let me just say it is a good game. And yes, there are cool male characters too. And I think you can follow the tag to my thoughts on the game.
-And yes, it is a 3DS game.

UoohhhhH! Xenoblade 2uuuuuu!

By sacrificing some of my sleep time, I was able to finish the game (once) before Xenoblade 2 reached me!
And yes, this is the JP version of Xenoblade 2!

But why? Are there not JP dubs available in the localized version?
Yes, but I cannot bear reading those English names and as stuff gets lost in translation, it is always best to play in the original language if possible.

PS: I learned Japanese. Not my 1st language or anything.

Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux - One random thought - MAJOR SPOILER

Major spoiler alert for both Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux AND Bravely Default.

But I just wanted to say this because it reminded me so.

Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux: First Playthrough Complete! + Thoughts

The problem is that I never played the original game, so to what level of spoiler I should go in to...
Hmm...
I guess I will go into spoilers of the original story, and possibly minor but no major spoilers of the new added story. The original story is technically an old game, after all. Though I guess spoiler warning, if you haven't really played the original game. Also, to what extent is the original story and new story is based off my observations, but if I mix them up... Hmm, well, I guess that actually means the story blended just that well.

Also, I'll go into as some detail on the additions in Redux, as far as my knowledge goes. (This is stuff that Atlus themselves blogged on, so they aren't spoilers though).

Youtube Channel

So with the loss of Miiverse and the ability to upload videos and Black Friday, I thought it was a chance to get equipment that would allow me to record stuff from the Nintendo Switch... and probably WiiU, but I'm haven't tried that yet. So I created a channel using this account (which is different from what I used just to upload Smash Bros video directly from the WiiU -> Look at the links on the right) and am playing around with the weird stuff Youtube offers its users.

I think this link is correct?
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0MKuNX9Wy1rp9yomAmOY4Q

Anyways, as far as content goes... It's just gameplay stuff. No narrations or any of that mess. Just gameplay. I haven't bought any editing software yet, so they generally will be no-edit stuff. It's more for me than anyone else, but if you have the time and interest, take a look.

WIXOSS: Booster Pack Opening - WX-21 Betrayed Selector... and a little Pokemon

Two boxes of WIXOSS as usual... and for no real reason and with no real place to put them, I also bought three random packs of Pokemon.

EDIT: So apparently, the new illustration Lv4s are actually not guaranteed inside a box. Huh, I feel a little better now...

New... game... (´・ω・`)

Yeah, I clearly don't have the time...
So I'm working mainly on Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey. Sub-ing the new game.
And then... Xenoblade 2 comes out...
Oh boy...

And yeah, it's obviously Pokemon. I got Ultra Sun because I bought Moon before.

Monday, November 6, 2017

Farewell, and Thank you, Miiverse!

Yeah, I never used it, really, except for the ability to upload videos, but there is just something lonely about the end of things. And the drawings and game diaries were usually fun to waste a bit of time in the day to look at.

I'll probably make a post later that just displays the screenshots that were uploaded onto Miiverse for Toushin Toshi. Why?
...Not sure. Advertisement for the game? Because I love the artwork? It's good eyecandy, anyways.

Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 finished!

Yeah, finally. Now I can get onto Megami Tensei.
Oh, and I updated the Fire Emblem Heroes Damage Calculator so that the Specials are more general and thus does not need updates every time the idiots at Intelligent (<-???) Systems adds another weird % Special.

Anyways, back to Thracia. In short, it was bloody awesome.

School Days... Rather, "Days series" rant

The series is technically called the "Day" series, but I think a lot of people actually don't know that, so I went with School Days in the title. But I felt the need to include the actual title of the series.

Please be warned that I will not be too pleasant in this rant... But do understand that I consider School Days a masterpiece.
Oh, and the soundtrack is bloody awesome for all of the games.

New games! ( ゚Å゚;)

Yeah, you know that feeling of getting more and more new games without finishing the one you are on and it just piles up...

Finishing Up:
Fire Emblem: Thracia

To Do:
Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey
Corpse Party
Ogre Battle (VC)
Island Days

To Buy:
Xenoblade 2

Anyways,
The new games I got were the recently released Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey and a quite old Island Days.
I've never played the original Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, so I am going into the game blind.
The only reason I bought Island Days was because it was at a huge discount, only costing $15. And I like School Days. Oh, and it came with the order bonus... that was probably for the limited edition. Meaning... so few people bought it that they still had the limited edition thing available? That wouldn't be a surprise though.

BTW, I will rant about School Days in another post because... *sigh* Anyways, I'll leave that for that.
Inside the "Read More" covers some parts of the Island Days order bonus.

BTW, Island Days is supposed to be one of those Tower Defense things + visual novel.

A few thoughts on MM! and a few other Light Novels

Now that I finished reading the manga for MM!
The content I will be talking about... and thus spoilers for are...
MM!
Watashi-tachi no Tamura-kun
Mushi to Medama series
Shinigami no Ballad

By the way, it kinda gets long.

Manga goods purchase (10/25/17)

Meh, I didn't really have a good title.
Anyways, I'll be talking a little about my purchases, which would be Seitokai Yakuindomo, WIXOSS, MM!, Zero no Tsukaima, and Love Lab. Yeah, it will also be partially me advertising them.

Pokemon Blue: Complete!

Well, I can finally take that one off my To Do list.

I want to finish FE: Thracia and start on Corpse Party or Stardust Amazoness.

Anyways, a few thoughts, final team, play time below...

Thursday, October 12, 2017

WIXOSS: Limited Edition Swimsuits!

Finally got my hands on the two packs of cards and other supplies!

BTW, do you know about Polka-dot collages? The idea is that if you cover a person's swimsuit with something, they look completely naked.

In other words, NSFW below.

Fire Emblem Heroes: Damage Calculator update

Yeah, I'm still alive. Still working on Pokemon Blue and FE: Thracia.
Updated the link to a new version that adds the recently added 30%/50%/80% damage reduction Sacred Seals.
Should be a link to the post that contains the link to the right.

BTW, the voting event crap is stupid. It was a bad idea from the start, and no matter how much they try to "fix" it, it won't work. It's just that bad.

v( ̄ー ̄)v イエーイ Yay イエーイ v( ̄ー ̄)v

Super Mario RPG is still one of my favorite RPGs. Such a fun game.

Oh, I got this one from Toys R Us. They used a ticket system and opened at regular store hours.
As everyone knows, Toys R Us also did not do pre-orders, so it was a first-come, first-serve, one-per-customer thing.
Very well done on their part.

...I feel old now...

Kemono Friends Tatsuki Firing incident: My Thoughts

My thoughts? F*** you, Kadokawa.
Let me tell you, currently, in the anime industry, the staff is already being overworked. Look at the recent anime season. Over half of the anime showed clear and sometimes terrible animation quality declines by the second half of the season.
Story? Hardly. You got terrible plots like ReCreators, the most mundane crap like Fate/Apo, a whole bunch of stuff that were just there, and a few that were interesting.

And comes along this guy who literally revives a dead series by himself, shedding blood and tears, and now that the series is popular and makes money, you try to find an excuse and remove him?

Do you know what you did? You killed a 1-in-10 years level anime hit in one night. The kindness in that anime, the innocence, the fun. You corrupted it with this scandal. Even if this somehow has a good ending, the fact that underneath all of this is a greedy, slimy, screwed-up company is enough to greatly damage what Tatsuki rebuilt.

And it probably isn't even about money. Because no one sane that cared about money would remove Tatsuki. No, there is more likely another deep cause inside Kadokawa, be it jealousy or whatelse that wants to remove the "outsider" to take the entire thing for itself.
And if Tatsuki did not risk his entire career to go against the corporate giant bully, it was likely Kadokawa would have went out of their way to make sure he is painted as the traitor.

And don't give me finger-pointing that its all their fault, Kadokawa. Even if everything you said was true (and no one believes you, BTW), you had all the means to negotiate and come up with a solution that doesn't cut off your money tree.
And yes, another sad thing is that since this series was dead in the first place, it probably doesn't even "hurt" the company, as they are just back to where they started. No, only every single other person in this world lost something thanks to you.

And let me just say. I came into this anime before it became popular. I was trying to advertise it before it became popular, because I watched and realized that this was something magical. Incredible!
So yeah, I was fairly invested into this and am equally irritated that the poisonous fangs of some s***a** idiots ruined it.

Monster Hunter XX: HR999 and Fasion Hunting

Finally reached HR999!

Oh, and the weapon use statistics at this point.

And I also am taking this opportunity to show off some of my fashion armor. Thanks to the armor fusing and all, I really had fun doing so.
Oh, but since there were so many, I did not bother to retake images. So some image might be a bit blurry. But as long as you can get the idea.
Also, I did not take images of armor sets that are completely from one armor set. (Though I still use some because they are cute/cool)

Switch and Splatoon 2!

I realized that they finally released a bundle here, so I went and finally got the console.
It's awesome that I can create both a JP user and elsewhere user and can switch between them when accessing the E-Shop to access E-shops from different regions.
That said, I had to do so because my bundle download code for Splatoon 2 doesn't work on the JP E-Shop.
Also, interestingly, depending on the user, I can get Octopath's demo to change languages.

Oh...
And Splatoon 2's single player gives my nausea.................. It got slightly better when I lowered the sensitivity, but still...
EDIT: Setting all sensitivity to the lowest fixed this problem

Fire Emblem (????) Warriors: HAH?! ( ゚д゚)凸

Warning: For the strange people that like this game, do not read onward as I rant about something that recently appeared in the new Nintendo Direct

3 New Games! (´∀`;)

Still haven't completed my previous games yet...

Currently Playing:
Fire Emblem: Thracia
Pokemon Blue

To Do:
Stardust Amazoness
Densetsu no Ogre Battle
Corpse Party

Since there are three images, I added a Read More this time.

WIXOSS: Booster Pack Opening - WX-20 Connected Selector

Two boxes as usual
(The white box is there because my finger was in the image)

Mercenary Saga 2 (3DS): Review

Yeah, the title says "Review", but there is no review. Just look at what I wrote for Mercenary Saga 3 and everything pretty much fits for this game.
http://tdnshumi.blogspot.com/2017/02/mercenary-saga-3-3ds-review.html

Which kinda makes sense because 2 and 3 pretty much have the exact same battle system and reuse a large number of assets.
Of course, as this is 2, 3 is probably a bit more polished, but I actually kinda liked Mercenary Saga 2's story better. Nothing long or great, but it had its pleasant surprises.

As always, a very plain and simple game, but it is fast-food meal cheap, so if you just want to play a harmless and normal RPG... Play 3 first and then play 2 if you still want such a game.

Oh, Read Next just has images of my main party in the game before the final battle.

13 hours of gameplay

Fire Emblem Heroes: Damage Calculator

Because it is a pain to open up a whole new web page just to calculate a few numbers
And because I don't need ones that have pointlessly large amounts of information, I decided to create my own.

I made it so that I could just click on the icon and open up a calculator to use, without having to open a browser or open a tab.
Thus, it is in EXE form. And yes, because I did not go through the signing/certification process, your computer will probably not trust the file. As far as I know, I did not insert any viruses, so you should be fine with it if you download from the link below (which means no one else should have modified it)

Some information on the application below:

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology - Review

Please note that as everyone already knows how awesome the original game is, I'm not really going to review the old content. I am going to mainly go over the changes, the additions to the game in the remake.

As so, there will be spoilers in this post, mainly at the end when I get to the scenario involving Nemesia. Since I'm going over what changed, that naturally includes content related to the story. If you follow the Radiant Historia tab, you'll probably find my post about the original game though.

EH?!?!?!?!?!

*hears about Miiverse discontinuation*
Well... I didn't use it, but it was fun reading other peoples' posts. But... sure, I guess...

*hears that you will no longer be able to use the Miiverse features in many games, including posting Smash Bros videos to Youtube*

Update (Radiant Historia)

Since it's been a while since the last post, I just wanted to make a note that I am still alive and still working on Radiant Historia. While I am on the last chapter, I still have to complete the new events and all of that stuff before I can really comment on the remake. So yeah, still have a ways to go, I guess.

Super Smash Bros WiiU: Current Usage Stats

Still working on Radiant Historia. Hard Mode is... hard...

Anyways, I recently got a 7777 Battles congrats message thing, so I just wanted to record my current character usage.
Oh, and as shown on the right side of the blog, I sometimes upload videos to
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDzWRliPvNLnfai5pt00ZSg

Mr. Game and Watch -> Unique moves all around, powerful recovery that keeps instant death combos away
Ganondorf -> Duh. So powerful and fun to use.
Donkey Kong -> Strangely addictive. I picked him up after the above two though. Also, probably the only regular character I use that has range on his attacks (the arms that don't have hurtboxes)
R.O.B. -> Sometimes just want to use a projectile-main character
Little Mac -> Sometimes just want to use such a... one-sided character
Palutena -.> Waifu! ...Though her playstyle honestly doesn't suit me
Jigglypuff -> Sometimes just want to use an underdog... Though I don't really have the bravery to Rest
Ike -> Starting to get used to him

The Alliance Alive: My Thoughts

As the title says.
I finished the game, so I wanted to put down my thoughts on the game.

Next up is Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology!

I do not believe I really put any important spoilers in the post. At least, nothing that much more than what the official site/Twitter revealed before the game was released.

Oh, and I think I wrote down everything I wanted to say about the game, but there was so much, I may have ran out of energy by the end and left something out.
Maybe.

New Game! Part 2 - The Alliance Alive

Next up is Alliance Alive, developed by Cattle Call and published by Furyu. No, it looks very similar to Legend of Legacy and there are a number of similar staff, but that was developed by Furyu while this is only published by Furyu.

It's theme is the good old RPG. That means a lot, but without even touching on the game content itself, that means:
-No DLC (AKA, let's rip out part of the game and sell it seperately)
-No voices (ROLE PLAYING <- Come up with the voices you think match the characters)
-A BOOKLET
A BOOKLET
BOOKLET! You remember these guys?!

(BTW, Sting is quite irrelevant now, but their Riviera (artwork by Tobe Sunaho) is still an awesome galg... I mean, game worth playing)

New Game! Part 1 - Radiant Historia

Due to saying more than usual with more images, I'm splitting this up into two sections, both with Read Mores.
And by the way, you might be wondering why it took me so long to get these games, but there was a problem on the store side. I have a good idea on what caused the problem, but I ended up minimizing the damage (as in, shipment delay) by switching my purchase to the more-costly limited edition for Radiant Historia. But hey, you do get the full soundtrack along with some other stuff, so it isn't wasted money. Just that I originally did not intend to buy the limited edition version.
(To be honest, the lack of action on the store side was bad customer service, but... Well, whatever. I won't call them out. Next time, just remember to order more than just one version of the game?)

Monster Hunter XX: Highest Difficulty Deviant Solo-ing 2/3

There probably will not be a 3/3.
Since out of the remaining ones, there includes a couple or few Monsters that are extremely painful to fight against, especially by yourself. Yes, I'm looking at you, you stupid rolling machine and you, you and your tendency to stay in the air 90% of the time.

Anyways, 6 more down.
And a couple of thoughts on each.

WIXOSS: Booster Pack Opening - WX-19 Unsolved Selector

Two boxes + the Eldora/Aya starter.
...I don't have the card sleeves for the two new decks...
Oh, and I forgot to take an image of the boxes before throwing the empty boxes out, so just an image of the tokens and extra.

Monster Hunter XX: Highest Difficulty Deviant Solo-ing 1/3

For the sake of it... and due to certain Monsters, I may not actually end up doing all of them, but I'm trying to go through the Highest Difficulty Deviants through Solo (with Palico, though they rarely survive long enough to matter).
For now, I went through 6 of the 18.

Images of the clear time and short thoughts below:
Note that I was not TA-ing and I was aiming at simply clearing the quest. So I added survival skills or played around a bit with other rarely used skills.

Culdcept Revolt - Why It is Fun (Advertisement)

http://nisamerica.com/games/culdcept-revolt/
So I just wanted to advertise the game a bit by going over some of the aspects of the game I find interesting about it. It really is one-of-a-kind, but it is so one-of-a-kind, it really isn't for everyone. Which is why it needs as much advertisement as possible.
And you know, if you've never played it before, it is worth trying once. Revolt especially has tried to make the single-player mode more fulfilling than ever, so even if you don't want to fight against other people, there is plenty for you to do.

Please keep in mind that what I find interesting can also be the reason why someone might find the game not suitable for them.
Still... Just buy the game and try it.

Monster Hunter Stories: Final Impressions, Thoughts

My thoughts on the game, upon finishing the main story. Of course, there is plenty to do after you beat the game, and Capcom provides new quests and updates (the DLC are free, BTW). I haven't really explored all of that, but so I can only touch a bit on that.

Oh, and last time I checked, the localized version should be coming out this year too. Since the language in the game is... "Monster Hunter language" (except for a few lines), I'm sure the dubbing was easy... (since there wasn't much need for new dubbing)

New New 3DS! : Onto the 3DS' last sprint? + Transfer Complete

I leave a question mark on the title because I do not assume I will get another new 3DS, as this new one should last me until the successor.

Currently:
Monster Hunter XX, Monster Hunter Stories

Backlog:
Stardust Amazoness, Fire Emblem Thracia, Mercenary Saga 2

Possible buys:
Ever Oasis, Alliance Alive, Radiant Historia, Etrian Odyssey Dungeon 2, Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journeys, Megami Tensei (title unknown?), Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon

I originally did not use a Read More line, but I ended up also adding the steps I took to transfer between systems and the post started getting long.

Fire Emblem: Echoes - Characters

Actually, I don't really have that much to say, so it'll just be screenshots of my stronger characters in my army. Any character whose image is now below were considerably useless and not really worth looking at.
Also, these are the levels and stats and classes they were in upon beating the game.

Stuff I want to say (JP names, BTW, since I don't know or care about their English ones):
-Effie's character is very... ugh, but her unit stats are very good. Her only weakness is her RES. After I changed her into a Mage, she was a magic user that had higher defenses than any of my other units, including Armor-types.......
-Dyute's states are a bit higher than they should be. Because I had her drink from the HP and DEF (her only weaknesses) water a few times.
-Overall,
--Physical Wall -> Effie
--Magic Wall -> Dyute
--And the others do their stuff too, but these two are my MVP.
-The Okama Archer (Leo) is actually pretty weak, but as he was my only archer on Celica's side, he played an important row until the two sides met up.

Oh, and I find Dyute (Loli, Genki, Imouto, Fang) very cute.

Fire Emblem: Echoes - Thoughts

Finally completed the game. I bought it when it was released in Japan, but it dragged out all the way until now.
Hey, Monster Hunter was released only a month before it. It's only inevitable.
I'll leave another post for Characters. Mainly pictures of my team.
For this one, thoughts/review on the game. Since the game has been out for so long, I will not hold back on the spoilers, BTW.

Thursday, May 25, 2017

Thanks, Nintendo Badge Arcade!

You know it's going to end one day, and the day has come... Well yeah, I didn't actually play this game until this year, so I wasn't with it for the majority of its run, but still, that lonely feeling.
(PS: The game itself has not ended, but it will no longer be updated)

Thursday, May 18, 2017

Wait, what? (Fire Emblem Echoes)

The localized version is already out for Fire Emblem Echoes? Dang, I really need to finish it then. I've been so focused on Monster Hunter that I haven't even found time to play it.
I mean, both games have good content, but if you have to choose between a complete game that gives you free new quests each week vs. an incomplete game that will no doubt "offer" enough paid DLC to buy another copy of the game by the time the DLC ends, you're gonna choose the complete one. It's more worth it too.

Friday, May 12, 2017

Fire Emblem Echoes: Hah?!

Seriously? Not just, okay, buy this one DLC to get an optional class that everyone can be, but now we have to pay extra to just be able to Class Change to the highest level?
You know, there is a limit to how willing I am to buying a game chopped up and sold separately.

We get grinding DLC. Fine.
We have to pay to get certain extra classes.... Fine...
We have to pay to learn about some of the scenario.... Fin...e?
And now we have to pay just to Class Change to the end? Yeah, you can evolve Pichu to Pikachu. Oh but, pay up if you want to get Raichu?
And it isn't, $5 to unlock the final tier classes! It's to pay for each class, one by one. If you buy all of them at once, it's 1500 yen. On top of the fact I bought the game?

Why is the DLC getting worse? What is the next game going to take out and sold to the customers' separately next time?
Who knows? But I'll keep this in mind when I decide on whether I will even BUY the next game. Oh, and yeah, I haven't been able to play much of Echoes because of Monster Hunter, but now that I've seen this, I'm not particularly sure I will play THIS game again after beating it once. Yeah, I'll still beat it once though. Bought it, after all.

Monster Hunter XX: Achievements Completed! + Thoughts

It wasn't that hard this time, especially because I did not have that hard of a time finding the Miniature Crowns. Not sure if it is just because I was lucky or if it is easier to find them in G Quests.

Thoughts on MHXX below:

New Game! ( ゚∀゚)

Arc System's Seisou no Amazoness!
I've had a level of interest in the game since it came out, but I never really got to buying it. But now that it's been 3+ years since its release, I've been waiting for a discount to buy it. And up until now, surprisingly, it hadn't.
But recently, Arc System put up a sale that included Seisou no Amazoness! Over 50% off! Putting aside exact money conversion, it's like buying a $50 game at $20! Of course I would buy it. Best chance yet.
BTW, I think there is still a couple days before the sale ends, so buy it cheap while you can. Of course, JP 3DS only. I don't even think this game has been localized anywhere else.

And yeah, I don't actually have time to play it right now.
Currently Playing: Monster Hunter XX, Fire Emblem Echoes
To Play: Fire Emblem Thracia, Monster Hunter Stories, Seisou no Amazoness, Mercenary Saga 2

As you can see, the list is... quite long....

WIXOSS: Booster Pack Opening - WX-18 Conflated Selector

Two boxes + Ulith/Guzuko Starter
There were not really that many cards I particularly wanted this time around. I guess Satorina (Dona deck) and Motsuna (Mel deck), Golden Defense were the ones I were looking for.

Oh, and I loved the baseball card designs, so as many kinds of those as possible.
(And yeah, you can actually use these cards in battles, entertainingly)

 And the results...

New Game! (゚Д゚)

Not that much of a surprise, but yeah, Fire Emblem: Echoes.
The past two games turned into a galge, so I hope Echoes finally fixes that.... You know, maybe actually doing war instead of magical Doraemon dimensions, having babies, and sexually harassing your army? Yeah.

And BTW, as far as I have played so far, it has been quite good. The characters, at the least, don't slam their "unique characteristics" into your face.
...Outside of the stupid girl obsessed with the protagonist and the okama. Well, we couldn't get a perfect score, but it's close enough.

Oh, and my progress is kinda slow for this game because I am still doing Monster Hunter XX.

I have absolutely no use for this thing...

Monster Hunter XX: G-Rank new moves

Mainly notes for myself on the new moves monsters use in G-Rank. And for my convenience, I will be using the Japanese names, as I am playing the JP version and am not used to the English names.
(Updating as I encounter and realize the G-rank changes)

EDIT1: Added other G2 Monsters + G3 Monsters
EDIT2: Added other G3 + G4 + Named
EDIT3: Added Named Tetsucabra

Monday, March 27, 2017

Pokemon Moon: 6th, 7th Shinies

And FINALLY, I have bred at least one of every new Pokemon. Of course, if there are different available movesets, then I bred more than one of a Pokemon. For instance, I raised two Gumshoos. One for Strong Jaw and one for Stakeout. Five Kommo-os, special attacker, Dragon Dance x 2 (different Speed EVs), Belly Drum, Reversal.
I try to do that for every Pokemon and have done that for every Pokemon up until now.

And upon reaching this point, I encountered two more Shinies!

And I think that posting more than one images makes the post too big without a "Read More" bar, so I'll put this one under it.

New games! (´∀`)

Monster Hunter Stories
I had my eye on this game before, and I heard it was actually a pretty good game, but I never got the opportunity to buy it. Capcom was giving out 50% discounts on it to people who played Monster Hunter and well, if I could buy Stories for only $30, then at least I will buy it to play later.

Monster Hunter XX
Continuing where I left off...
When I first started up the game, I had trouble getting into the Downloads, but it looks like it was a server issue, not my internet, thankfully.

Radiant Historia Remake!

http://radianthistoria.jp/

My body is ready...

Monster Hunter X: Ready for MHXX

After a long time, I finally reached HR999. You get a model in MHXX that records your Hunter Rank from the file transfer and of course, that is a one-time only event, so I wanted to be at the highest possible rank when I transferred files.
Oh, and I haven't gotten MHXX yet.

Read More leads to images of my weapon use, and my Monster Hunt stats.

Pokemon Moon: 3rd, 4th, 5th Shinies

The Shinies I found since my previous Pokemon post. Exeggcute was hatched while under Masuda Method and the other two were found during normal breeding. They all had the right natures, so it was only a matter of leveling them to 100 and using Hyper Training to get them set for competitive battling.
And yes, they are all in Beast Balls because I like the visuals and catched every Pokemon possible in Beast Balls for breeding purposes. And yes, it was a nightmare trying to catch some Pokemon.

New Games! ( ゚∀゚)

Frontier Days and Mercenary Saga 2 for the 3DS. I actually bought Frontier Days a while back, when I used some coins and got a discount for it. Mercenary Saga 2 also had a sell a few days back, and I bought it then.
Frontier Days is... think, Age of Empires, without the war. It's actually made by Arc Systems, and by clearing certain tasks/achievements, you unlock a couple of images involving their famous fighter game.
Mercenary Saga 2 is more or less the same thing as Mercenary Saga 3. (Duh?) As it came before 3, the UI actually feels a bit less polished. But it'll do. Cheap too.

Oh, and BTW, the sequel/expansion of Frontier Days is going to be available on the Nintendo Switch too! <- Shameless advertisement

Fire Emblem Heroes: No, this isn't Ephraim

Look man, if you are going to write a character... that has already been established, it would VERY, VERY, VERY be helpful if you played the game or AT LEAST read the script. And if you are working on Fire Emblem, I have no doubt you have access to that.
And when you are responsible for writing a game that is pretty much fanservice to fans of the characters, it is incredibly important not to misrepresent the character.
If you are getting paid to do this, try to do more than just scan the web and pick up fan jokes of characters. Yes, fans make fun of how Cecilia (Fuuin no Ken) looks old. But if I recall correctly, her official setting is NOT OLD. So stop making her talk about her age! It's like being forced to read a bad doujin, except it's not fan-based but official.

Oh, and BTW, his Japanese voice sucks too. But it actually fits THIS FAKE EPHRAIM, so in a way, it makes sense that his voice sucks. Because the representation is faulty from the start!
And BTW again, but as you can tell from Wada Sachiko's Tweeter, you can tell the original artist for the game clearly isn't happy either, even though she says it way more subtly than me.

Let me be blunt. THIS IS NOT EPHRAIM!

He is not the character that openly talks about sibling love. In fact, you can say he doesn't even realize how close he is with his sister. He's more of the type that usually teases his sister (which he does in the game), but in the end, they are close to each other at heart.
In fact, Erika is the one that is more of the "Please spend time with me, Onii-chan!" type, even though that is an exaggeration too.

Oh, and guess what? Ephraim is the type of person willing to charge into a fortress with only 4 people, even while those people are trying to tell him it is crazy to try it. But he charges in and does what he needs to do.
In fact, this line more resembles that boss who you fight in Chapter 14 or something, the one surrounded by mountains where the merchant later pops up on the left. Why is Ephraim saying this? Because the writer couldn't find a more natural way to extend the storyline (for what worth the story even has)?
EDIT: Oh, and to be clearer, Ephraim does say this line in the game too. Except the way he uses it is the exact opposite and very cool. One of the reasons he is liked.
Another proof the writer did not bother to study the original source. Using a line from the game sounds smart, right? NOT WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW THE CONTEXT OF IT!
