Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu - Story complete!

Phew, finally completed it. It took so long, I'm not even sure if I want to try a no-marriage run, which means I would be mostly forced to use non-royalty and not be able to rely on the OP holy weapons...

And yeah, my score kinda sucks, since I took time/turns to level up my characters when I could and felt like it.

Some game thoughts, my characters, and spoilers related to such.

As far as the game goes, it REALLY, really felt like fighting a war. And that is really good, especially since the most recent Fire Emblem game (Fates) really failed on that aspect, especially the geography, where the map they tried to use was on a elementary-school level. But Seisen no Keifu? Man, that map is clear as can be, though because it is so clear, it is also hard to remember. Each country and the main areas within each country. They all play into the story. So many bloodlines that I can't really remember clearly off the top of my head. On top of that, the field is literally one big map. Each time you clear a chapter, you start off on a part of the old chapter's map, except now you are able to see the new chapter's part of the map. And that's just really cool.
Another part that seems war-ish is how the enemy all move in battalions. They all have leaders and all move in a set order, keeping formation in the process, except under certain circumstances like attacking your character.

The difficulty is quite different, depending on the parents half and the childrens half. The parent chapters are relatively easy, but you have some really nasty stuff in the children chapters. Especially the last chapter, which really lives up to its status as the last chapter. Huge armies with powerful skills and weapons. I mean, look at this

And all of those mages in the 2nd picture won't really even move. Half of them will cast Sleep on anyone that enters their range and the rest spam long-range magic.

However, as you can save EVERY turn, it isn't really that punishing. Of course, you can just not abuse the save function, but just saying, this function does lower the difficulty of the game, though because each chapter is considerably long, this function is also needed.
While I would say that the OP weapons are too OP, when you are faced with such a swarm of enemies and when some enemies also have OP weapons, I wouldn't really complain.

Oh, and this is something that became drastically obvious around the 3DS Fire Emblem games, but the characters in this game are more subdued and less obvious anime archetypes than recent games. Well, perhaps you need more realistic characters for war stories instead of having the function to sexually harass the members of your army (*cough cough* Fates).
Also, you do make babies, but instead of carelessly having sex and then throwing your children in weird Doraemon dimensions, there is far more drama and time actually passes in the two digit of years for children and other characters to grow. That drama when you realize those characters that could not save the parents finally are able to help the children complete what their parents set out to do.

So all of that said, here are all of my characters, with the parents on the top at larger size and their children below them, at the end of the game:

These kids show just what happens when you give power to Swordmaster-types... or why the Swordmasters in the newer games have low Strength. Or why Astra is now 1/2 the damage per hit...
And thanks to the dad, their defense is also high and they have Elite to gain EXP faster. Just... so... strong...

Parent chapters: Ones that did not marry
Children chapters: The children from characters that aren't in the party in Chapter 5, characters from Parent generation
